Arts Consultants Canada organized this Open Forum to identify and discuss key drivers of change in the arts, especially related to the COVID-19 pandemic and post-pandemic arts ecosystem. Kelly’s presentation provides a brief overview of four key trends identified in his research: 1) Survival; 2) The re-start?; 3) Decolonization; and 4) Equity issues related to the situations of women in the arts, black artists and arts workers, artists and arts workers of colour, as well as artists and arts workers who are d/Deaf and/or have a disability.

Infographic: Arts participation and Canadians' health. Based on an analysis of Canadians' participation in 15 arts, culture, and heritage activities, the report found that attendees or participants in all 15 are more likely to report 'very good' or 'excellent' health than non-attendees or non-participants.
