Good news! The Statistical Insights on the Arts series will be back

Hill Strategies Research is thrilled to inform you that the Statistical Insights on the Arts series has been renewed for 2018/19! Following a competitive process, Hill Strategies has been awarded a contract to produce the reports for a funding consortium comprised of the Department of Canadian Heritage, the Canada Council for the Arts, and the Ontario Arts Council.

The Statistical Insights on the Arts reports aim to provide reliable, recent, and insightful data on the state of the arts in Canada. The first new reports in the series will be produced in the fall.

These reports will have a new look and feel, with a stronger emphasis on design and new ways of disseminating key findings.

On a related note, the no-fee presentation series has also been renewed for 2018/19, and a notice about these presentations will be forthcoming in the fall of 2018.

Since establishing the series in 2002, Hill Strategies has published 46 reports in the Statistical Insights on the Arts series, all of which remain available on Previous reports have examined artists, cultural workers, arts attendance, volunteers, donors, the arts and wellbeing, and consumer spending on culture.
