Two no-fee presentations for 2008-09
Selection of the two no-fee presentations
As part of the Statistical Insights on the Arts and Arts Research Monitor series, Kelly Hill will conduct two presentations in 2008-09 for no speaking fee. The speaking fee is funded by the Department of Canadian Heritage, the Canada Council for the Arts and the Ontario Arts Council in conjunction with funding for the Statistical Insights on the Arts series and the Arts Research Monitor.
Based on our call for expressions of interest, two “no-fee” presentations have been selected:
1) Social Impacts of the Arts (bilingual presentation)
CAPACOA 21st Annual Conference: “The Challenge of Change”
November 8, 2008
Kelly Hill’s presentation will provide delegates with a broader understanding of the social impacts of the arts, including tips on how to integrate the information into their day-to-day activities and strengthen their long-term thinking and awareness of the social environments within which they operate.
2) Performing Arts Attendance and Social Impacts (in French)
January 15, 2009
This presentation will highlight the factors in performing arts attendance and the social impacts of attendance. Delegates will learn more about the importance of the performing arts within the social environment, including arts education and cultural belonging.
Downloadable summaries of previous presentations conducted by Kelly Hill are available elsewhere in this Presentation section.
