Toward a Better Understanding of the Arts in the Economy and Civil Society
Presentation in St. John's on March 3, 2011
Kelly’s research-based presentation explored the benefits of the arts to quality of life, social cohesion and economic vitality as well as provided key data on St. John’s and Newfoundland artists, arts organizations, arts funding, donors and volunteers. A key part of the session was a facilitated discussion about the research findings, research gaps and meaning behind the data.
